During a stay in the mountains, John Gardner, leader of a group of companies, and his family,
 receive friends and associates in a luxurious lodge, in the heart of the Rockies.
 On the second day, a snowstorm rises. The roads are blocked. Networks out of order.
 They find themselves cut off from the world.
 When the blizzard stops, eighteen days have passed.
 The occupants of the lodge are rescued and placed under observation.
